Global COVID-19 cases surpass 1.91 million: Johns Hopkins

Confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide topped 1.91 million, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The figure reached 1,912,923 with 118,966 deaths as of 6:05 a.m. BJT on Tuesday (2205 GMT on Monday), the CSSE said.

According to the running tally, the United States reported 577,842 cases, the most in the world, as well as the highest death toll at 23,232.
