"No man is an island, entire of itself" - yet a bit of physical isolation could do more good than harm given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The dazzling world of technology had tricked us into an illusion that virtual connection could easily substitute all forms of genuine human contact until the pandemic reminded us how true the otherwise is, and how unwilling we are to forego any of it.
