Some accused China of not sharing information about COVID-19 with the World Health Organization. Dr Maria Van Kerkhove, technical lead of WHO Health Emergencies Programme, said on Monday that "the sequence itself of the virus was shared (by China) on the 12th, and because that happened, we had PCR assays that were rapidly developed and shared globally."
