White-lipped deer is a Class A protected species in China which are extremely rare. Only around 7,000 of them exist in the wild, most of them inhabiting the valleys of the Hengduan Mountains in Tibet. An abandoned calf was adopted by a couple, Tsewang Norgros and Tsering Choedron. They took careful care of the baby deer and preparing to send it back to the forest.
