Tens of thousands of wild geese gathered in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on their migration tour to their breeding grounds.

Xunke County of Heilongjiang, located on the only migration route for wild geese, sees flocks of the bird every year. The waterfowl usually stays in the county by the Heilongjiang River for about 20-30 days before departing for the north every spring.

Geese are under second-class state protection in China.
