Rayuela restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center of the capital. Just a few steps from the Guatemalan presidential palace and the seat of government, there is a long line of people waiting to get free food from this local restaurant. The restaurant has served as many as 650 people per day since the initiative started four weeks ago.

Despite facing bankruptcy due to the pandemic, the owner has kept the shop running to serve the local community with the help of donations.
