Organization leaders respond to Trump's WHO funding freeze

U.S. President Donald Trump halted funding to the World Health Organization on April 15, claiming it has "failed in its basic duty" in response to the coronavirus outbreak.  

Richard Horton, the editor-in-chief of The Lancet, said Wednesday on Twitter that Trump's decision is a "crime against humanity." Bill Gates also tweeted "this decision is as dangerous as it sounds."
