Over 4,000 military medical personnel that helped Wuhan fight COVID-19 have left the city. They were the last group to do so. Medical workers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, Strategic Support Force, Joint Logistic Support Force, and Armed Police had been dispatched to the city in three groups.
The three hospitals managed by these medics had 2,856 beds and received 7,198 patients, without registering a single infection among staff. Before leaving, the military medical teams disinfected the facilities and organized documents, which were then handed to local medical workers.
