Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai was among the 14 activists from the pan-democratic camp arrested on Saturday over unlawful protests back in 2019. Lai was accused of organizing and participating in unlawful marches on August 18 and October 1 from Causeway Bay to Chater Road in Central. Police also entered and searched his place under a warrant.
