Iran reported 1,343 new cases with 87 more deaths, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 82,211, including 5,118 deaths.

The total confirmed cases in Switzerland and Liechtenstein rose to 27,740 after nearly 500 new infections were reported in 24 hours. The death toll from the coronavirus now stands at 1,135 deaths.

Portugal confirmed 521 new cases in the past 24 hours, with the total number of confirmed infections reaching 20,206, including 741 deaths.

The Netherlands recorded 1,066 new cases and 83 more deaths, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 32,655 with 3,684 deaths.

Germany reported 2,458 new cases, raising the tally of infections to 139,897 with 4,294 deaths.

Malaysia confirmed 84 new cases, bringing the total number to 5,389. The death toll stands at 89 deaths.

The United Arab Emirates reported 479 new cases, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,781 with 41 deaths. A total of 14 COVID-19 mobile testing centers have been opened nationwide.
