Rare footage of giant panda and other precious animals has been captured in a nature reserve in northwest China.

The dense forest in Guanyinshan Nature Reserve is a major habitat for a number of animal species under key state protection, including giant pandas, takins, golden snub-nosed monkeys and dwarf musk deer.

Since 2017, to preserve the biodiversity in the reserve, staff have been closely monitoring wildlife in the area.
