Wetlands in northeast China's Jilin Province have welcomed thousands of migratory birds, including about 2,000 Siberian cranes.
Momoge Wetland, located on an important bird migration route, sees flocks of birds every year. As temperatures climb, the number of birds increases.
About 2,000 Siberian cranes, under first-class state protection, have joined other birds at the wetland. The birds spend their winter in the largest body of freshwater in China, Poyang Lake, and then fly back to their breeding ground in Siberia every spring.
