During an inspection tour to northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the village of Jinmi, which has shaken off poverty in recent years by developing the black fungus industry. President Xi, while addressing villagers through a video link, said the e-commerce industry is flourishing and promising, adding that it is not only a platform for farmers to sell their goods but also an effective way to lift people out of poverty and push forward rural vitalization.
