As of Tuesday, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Thailand stood at 2,811, while 2,108 patients have recovered. More tourist sites in Thailand, including the popular tourist island Koh Samuiunder, are under lockdown to contain the pandemic.  

Doctors from the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing shared their first-hand working experience in Wuhan with their counterparts from Thailand, through a video conference. Professor Cao Bin, Vice President of the Beijing hospital shared his clinical trial on Lopinavir–Ritonavir, a combination of HIV antiviral drugs, saying it is a positive experiment with Lopinavir–Ritonavir shown effective results on certain groups of people.
