Story of Fighting COVID-19: Chinese student and his Polish friend team up to give out PPEs in New York

New York has the most COVID-19 cases in the world, and is in need of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) more than ever.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leslav, a 66-year-old Polish immigrant, who has been a taxi driver in New York for 36 years, met a young Chinese graduate student Neil from Columbia University, and they started working together to bring PPEs to New York pharmacies, hospitals and the neighborhoods that were badly in need.

Despite differences in their opinions about COVID-19 and government policies, they gradually became close friends.
