A pair of wild crested ibises, named Honghong and Huohuo in Yangxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, have once again started their natural breeding journey of building a nest together and welcoming a new life.
However, the journey was not easy. The female crested ibis is already 17 years old, roughly equivalent to a 50-year-old human. If the eggs are successfully hatched, it will set a new breeding age record for crested ibises in the wild.
