Expert: Tests should balance speed and safety

In the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus was on nucleic acid testing. Hu Naijun, an associate professor from the School of Public Policy and Management at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, says nucleic acid test is more accurate, but takes longer time; and antibody tests could mistakenly identify antibodies, producing a false positive.
