Over 1,000 firefighters are battling a forest fire in Xiaozhu Mountains in east China's Shandong Province that has reignited and has since gotten stronger because of a change of wind direction.

Six helicopters have also been deployed to put out the fire on the mountain peak and slopes. 

The forest fire first broke out at around 14:30 BJT on April 23 and was extinguished at 06:00 BJT the next day. However, it reignited six hours later.
