A Chinese company has sent a batch of medical supplies to the U.S. state of Ohio to curb the COVID-19 outbreak.

The donations, which came from the Heren Charitable Foundation of Fuyao Glass Industry Group, include 1,000,000 surgical masks and 30,000 protective goggles.

The chairman of Fuyao Group featured in a 2019 documentary "American Factory" and is forging a strong bond with Ohioans.

The donations will help local medics, school teachers and students, as well as community members, battle the pandemic.
