A day after U.S. President Donald Trump made a bizarre suggestion of "injecting disinfectants into human bodies" as a possible treatment for COVID-19, Maryland emergency hotline received more than 100 calls enquiring about injecting disinfectants. Many health experts and disinfectant manufacturing companies have condemned Trump's remarks, saying such products are only for external use and injecting them into the human body could have dangerous consequences.
