The World Health Organization said all available evidence suggests the coronavirus originated from an animal, despite claims it was manufactured in a laboratory in Wuhan. The head of the lab told Reuters earlier there was no conclusive answer as to where the disease started. The director of the National Biosafety Laboratory said that Wuhan Institute of Virology did not have either the intention or the ability to design and construct a new coronavirus, adding there is no information within the coronavirus genome to indicate it was man-made.
