Paralyzed sportsman climbs 'Qomolangma' up stairs to get funds for NHS

Ed Jackson, a paralyzed ex-rugby player, has climbed the equivalent height of Mt. Qomolangma on his parents' staircase. It took the 31-year old four days to climb 5,566 flights of stairs, up and down for 12 hours a day to get the 29,029-feet target. According to Reuters, he has so far managed to raise more than 50,500  U.S. dollars for Britain's National Health Service (NHS) amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
