Situated on the bank of Jialing River, Nanchong City of southwest China's Sichuan Province has seen more than 150 domestically raised water buffalo crossing the river for fresh grass on the other side of the river.
The Jialing River is a major tributary of the Yangtze River. Every year, starting from April, the water temperature rises and the water buffalo wade through the river to graze on the lush grass that had been nourished by nature throughout spring.
