A Michigan couple in quarantine because of COVID-19 had to wait nearly three weeks to meet their newborn twins. Jennifer and Andre Laubach met their sons for the first time after the twins were born eight weeks early.
In the weeks leading up to the twins' births, both Jennifer and Andre experienced symptoms of COVID-19. The night Jennifer went into labor, a doctor called to say her husband had tested positive and could not go to the hospital. Jennifer was forced to drive to the hospital by herself, leaving her husband behind.
The couple and both babies are doing well.
