U.S. Expert: Substantial risks involved in reopening the economy

As the U.S. states of Georgia and Texas moves forward with plans to reopen the economy, Prof. Benjamin Neuman, chair of Biological Sciences at Texas A&M University, has warned that substantial risks are involved in this process, saying the U.S. has not passed the peak stage of virus spread and no one can "negotiate" with the spread of the virus. Prof. Neuman also noted that successful economic reopening has happened in countries where the virus spread is very close to the bottom.
