World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has defended the agency's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Tedros on Wednesday said he would reconvene the WHO's Emergency Committee to evaluate the ongoing situation and to provide updated recommendations.
