People in Berlin now can learn about Chinese culture even if they are quarantined at home. The Chinese culture center Berlin (Chinesisches Kulturzentrum Berlin) made full use of the advantages of the internet and new media and has held a number of online activities including a series of exhibitions themed "Cloud Visit China."

Following the well-received online gallery about Ancient Silk Road in April, the center launched a couple of online exhibitions on its official website and on Wechat including "Cloud Visit China," "World Heritage in China," and "Oriental aesthetic – bamboo culture."

With 55 World Heritage sites, natural and civil landscapes are surely worth visiting, and "World Heritage in China" introduces these heritage sites and is a window for the German people to know more about China.

Through the "Oriental aesthetic – bamboo culture" exhibition, visitors will find that "bamboo culture" permeates in the Chinese people's clothing, food, housing, transportation, entertainment, and other aspects, and also affects the Chinese literature, music, painting, religion, folk customs, gardens, and other cultural and artistic fields.

In order to strengthen the prevention and control of COVID-19, the Chinese cultural center in Berlin has been closed since mid-March according to the requirements of the Berlin municipal government. But those online galleries and exhibitions provide a preferable choice for people during the quarantine to kill time.
