China, South Korea and other Asian countries are among the first hit by the novel coronavirus. Prevention and control measures they took have been evolving with a deeper understanding of this new virus. This story recounts the new challenges that the pandemic poses to the implementation of public health policies as well as the effectiveness of measures taken by China and South Korea at different stages.
