After the lockdown in Moscow, people were limited in their ability to go outside, leaving about 35,000 stray animals in the city without care. 

Elena Burova, a journalist based in the Russian capital, is trying her best to help stray dogs. With assistance from a team of volunteers and strangers from all over the city, she is able to care for those animals and help them survive the aftermath of the pandemic.
