The Phoenix Zoo, struggling like other zoos to keep the public's attention during the coronavirus shutdown, has found an unlikely savior in a sloth. Fernando may be slow, but he has become a top earner for the zoo while it's closed during the pandemic. Since Fernando joined Cameo, a site where people pay for personalized video messages, about a month ago, the zoo has received 150 requests. Because of his popularity, they have upped fee from 25 U.S. dollars to 50 dollars. The zoo has been losing 80,000 dollars a day since it's closing around mid-March. For now, Fernando's doing all he can on Cameo.
