After the Bundesliga declared its return date of May 16, football fans eyed the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga for their decisions. Javier Aguirre, manager of Leganes, broke to the press that the Spanish top football league will resume on June 20.

"We've now got a restart date: La Liga will start again on June 20, and we'll officially finish within five weeks, on July 26. (Games) will be played Saturday, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for the 11 (remaining) fixtures," said Aguirre to Marca.com.

If Aguirre's information is true, that means the clubs will play a game every three days, which can be a true test to players' stamina, especially after they missed game-playing and systematic training for months.

"La Liga have now confirmed that to me officially and so I'm happy because we've now got training all scheduled. We'll start tomorrow. Fortunately, we passed our (coronavirus) tests," said Aguirre, whose team rank nineteenth with 23 points. In the top group, Barcelona lead the league with 58 points and Real Madrid trail by two.

Jose Antonio Cachaza, managing director of La Liga India, gave a similar answer about when the 2019-20 season will restart. " … after a lot of discussion with the government authorities, we can say that we are looking at the second or third week of June as a possible return to action. The clubs have been intimated about the same," said Cachaza at an online press conference on Thursday.

Teams are preparing for season restarting. For example, Barcelona allowed players to start individual training from Friday on the basis of social distancing. Many caution policies have been introduced, including no use of the locker room.
