It looks like an ordinary fledgling but if you look closer, you may find its beak slightly curves upward. When it grows up, it will look like this:

The bird with a peculiar beak is pied avocet, a large, black-and-white wader living in Asia and Europe. Qingdao City in eastern China is one of the species' breeding spots. Some pied avocet families just made home in Baishahe wetland in the seaside city. New parents take good care of the chicks, wandering around with them and teaching them to forage in the beach. Pied avocet is distinctive by its long, upturned bill. It forages in shallow brackish water or on mud flats, where the unique bill can be used to shuffle through sands and find insects and crustaceans. The migratory bird is doing fine in most of its habitats. It is classified as "least concern" species by IUCN Red List.
