Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has stressed the role of daylily farming to help alleviate poverty. Xi made the remarks while visiting an organic daylily farm in Yunzhou District of Datong City on Monday afternoon during an inspection tour of north China's Shanxi Province.
