Israel has already more or less annexed the territories it was considering, said Guy Laron, a senior lecturer in international relations at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and author of "The Six-Day War: The Breaking of the Middle East." 

Laron told CGTN that Israel's new coalition government will largely maintain its current political landscape, as the government's political influence has been taking root in the region over the past decades.
