The Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town has donated surgical masks and food supplies to vulnerable communities in the Western Cape. The donation ceremony was hosted by Chinese Consul General Lin Jing. South Africa's deputy parliamentary Speaker, Solomon Tsenoli, says the country has learned a lot from China's experience in battling COVID-19 and the donation is timely as his country struggles to contain the disease.
