U.S. senator steps aside as committee chair as FBI probes stock trades

U.S. Senator Richard Burr will step aside as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, as he's investigated for insider trading. He said he did not want the investigation to distract the intelligence committee from its work. The FBI has seized his mobile phone, as they look into allegations he used inside information to trade stocks before markets plummeted on coronavirus concerns.
