China is committed to building an open platform of cooperation with World Trade Organization (WTO) members and urges all parties to support the multilateral trading system, a senior commerce official said on Monday. Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen made the remarks while responding to a question from a CGTN reporter. The WTO has played a positive role amid the COVID-19 pandemic and China is willing to work with other WTO members to ensure the safety and openness of the global industrial and supply chains.
