A drive-thru funeral was held by a local parlor in city of Ciudad Juarez in northern Mexico on May 12, allowing people to offer condolences from within their vehicles to avoid contagion.

The funeral was carried out next to a cemetery with the coffin placed under a tent and a path that cars could follow to get a view.

The funeral was held for a healthcare worker who transported COVID-19 patients and got infected.
