According to the International Council of Museums (ICOM), this year's event aims to "celebrate the diversity of perspectives that make up the communities and personnel of museums, and champion tools for identifying and overcoming bias in what they display and the stories they tell." /VCG

The organization continues to represent the global museum community more than 60 years after its founding. /VCG
