Nigerian Navy on Tuesday rescued a Chinese fishing boat hijacked by pirates in the Gulf of Guinea, Xinhua reported citing China’s Consulate-General in Lagos. 

All 18 individuals on the boat have been rescued, including eight Chinese nationals, the embassy said. 

Pirates hijacked the boat on May 15 near Cote d'Ivoire. All ten pirates have been arrested by the Nigerian Navy.
