The Global Guardians: Music boat eases minds in Amsterdam
Reinier Sijpkens, captain of a music boat in the Netherlands, says he lost all income because no performances are allowed until September 1. However, after receiving a government subsidy of 1,050 euros, he decided to give something back.
Reinier paddles and plays the trumpet in the canals of Amsterdam to entertain and cheer up people in their homes or houseboats amid the pandemic. Reinier said everybody can do a little something to contribute to the fight against coronavirus.
