The third session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened Thursday afternoon at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Wang Yang, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, delivered a work report to the political advisors who gathered to discuss major domestic political, economic, and social issues and make proposals. The standing committee has enriched the forms of consultation and unleashed the CPPCC's best potential as an advisory body, said Wang.
