The third session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened Thursday afternoon at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Wang Yang, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, is delivering a work report to the political advisors who have gathered to discuss major domestic political, economic and social issues and make proposals. In reviewing the work since the second session of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC last year, Wang said they will deepen efforts to build consensus.
