UK announces new post-Brexit plans on tariffs

Britain on Wednesday announced a new tariff regime to replace EU's common external tariff. The new policies will come into force from January 2021, after the Brexit transition period ends. The government said 60 percent of its imports will come into Britain without tariffs, and future trade talks will increase that figure.
