'Weeping' inverted tulips bloom in Turkey's mountains

Have you ever seen bright-colored inverted tulips in the wild? At the peaks of Mercan Mountains in Ovacik district of Tunceli in Turkey, orange, red and yellow tulips are blooming with the arrival of the spring.

Inverted tulips are also called "weeping brides" by locals because they looks they have been crying when water accumulated during the night slides down its leaves in the day. The flower has been related to many legends.
