Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has vowed the full implementation of "One Country, Two Systems" in Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions (SARs) and highlighted the necessity of establishing sound legal systems to defend national security in the two SARs. Li made the remarks when delivering a government work report at the third annual session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) in Beijing on Friday. He also expressed resolute opposition to any form of separatist activity that seeks "Taiwan independence."
