Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders mourned the lives taken during the COVID-19 pandemic on Friday. They joined deputies to the third session of the 13th National People's Congress in observing a moment of silence in tribute to those who sacrificed their lives to the fight against COVID-19 and those who lost their lives in the pandemic.
