The Belt and Road Initiative is set to press ahead in post-pandemic China. Martin Raiser, the World Bank Country Director for China, (South) Korea and Mongolia, says the initiative is one of the nation's most important tenets. Raiser welcomes China's efforts on the quality of projects, in terms of environmental standards, procurement and transparency, to ensure its success.
