China's top political adviser Wang Yang joined a meeting of the NPC deputies from Taiwan on Sunday. Wang stressed the need to implement the statements on Taiwan made by President Xi Jinping and called on deputies to stick to the "One Country, Two Systems" principle and the peaceful reunification of the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
