Some Hong Kong residents fear a draft decision of National Security legislation for the HKSAR might end the city's freedoms and undermine its autonomy. But former Hong Kong chief executive Tung Chee-hwa said the law is necessary for Hong Kong's welfare, and he urged Hong Kong residents to support the legislation during a speech on Monday.
